How backerkit works and some general updates

Hi,

we are currently working on the Backerkit page which will help us and you to manage add-ons and shipping. 

Also things like color options, decals and additional add-ons can be chosen there. 

You can also buy additional add-ons you may have missed during the campaign. 

We will also add 3 Hard-drive options. (1x 250GB, 1x 500GB, 1x 1TB) - prices are not fixed yet surprise surprise... But you can also just buy an USB-Sata adapter and add your own standard 2.5" Hard drive. 

The indieGO! supports SD-Cards in the front sd-card, usb storage, and optionally an internal Hard-drive. It features also free 25GB cloud storage and because of a stretch-goal you get the AmiCloud client also for one OS of your choice so you can use this to transfer or backup data. 

What is happening right now..

We are still on the hunt for playable demos of your favorite games which will be pre-installed. (See update #33 )

Development of Projekt Lila (see update #29) is progressing and André Nolte is working on the indieGO! Boxart for the Game and a general template for all other indieGO! Games as well as the Box for the console. 

Amiworx is also working on Tales of Gorluth 2 

Fabio is working on EmuLA which will exceed EmulationStation at a later point : )

AmigaTech Inc. is working further on AmigaRacer. Right now on the HUD and Weather-Engine (this is cool because if you allow an internet connection the game will feature the actual weather and daytime of the racing location).

We started with our chat-system (messenger) which will allow to chat with other gamers.

This will work also platform independent.. this means indieGO! users can chat/play against PC and Amiga gamers : ) *

* As requested by a backer we will of course allow to disable all online functions individually. 

Finally the creators of Tanks Furry (remember that the game will be included with every console bundle) will finish the indieGO! Special Edition around end of March. 

The indieGO! Special Edition of Tanks Furry will be marked on title and menu screen "Special indieGO! Version". It has also 30 multiplayer stages (15 standard and added 15 extra exclusively for you). 

The work on the indieGO! celebration demo will start soon as well. This demo will work on PC, Amiga and Mac as well as the indieGO!. It will include all backer names and we will show it at the next Evoke in germany : )

More games and another gift

Besides Projekt Lila we have 2 more games in the pipeline for Amiga (68k) and indieGO!

One Alien Breen inspired top down shooter called "Oh No! More Aliens" which is basically a parody on Alien Breed with a bit of humor inspired from Zombies Ate my neighbors. 

The second game is called "Dudes on Fire" which is inspired by Ikari Warriors. 

First we will release "Projekt Lila", than "Oh No! More Aliens" and last but not least "Dudes on Fire". If everything goes fine all 3 games will be ready in 2016.

All those games will cost ~30€ but for our backers which backed us with at least 5€ we will grant a 10€ discount for each game. 

And now a free bonus for our backers:

Graphics and Soundtrack for the games are ready, so I've devices to gift all backer which supported us with 29€ or more both Soundtracks on an AudioCD.

The CD will be included in the same package as your reward.

The music varies from Chiptunes over Raggae to Rock to Dubstep and Techno : ) 

Let's talk about launch titles

While you are free to run your own roms, we will offer an alternate and legal way with a steady growing library in our App Store. Each console comes with a 15€ worth gift card to be used for games or chip tune music : ) 

Besides this I can announce at least 4 launch games which will be made available on CDROM. With a bit of luck we can show you this weekend the final design of the indieGO!- Boxart.  

The following games will be released on CD/DVD for the indieGO! and compatible Platforms*:

1. Our own freaking awesome Projekt Lila (details will follow asap) (available as add-on for console bundles for 25€ or stand alone reward for 29€

2. Our puzzle game G.E.M.Z (which was part of an Stretch goal, so all Backers get it preinstalled, ready to play) 

3. Legends (Piko Interactive) (add 29€ and get it with your console bundle, or stand alone for 34€)

4. Iron Commando (Piko Interactive) ((add 29€ and get it with an console bundle, or stand alone for 34€))

*The CD's will contain also executables for AmigaOS4, AROS, Linux(i386),OS X(PPC/intel) and Windows

Each game will be printed(not just copied) on CD and include a hand written (not just signed) thank you letter : )

Well this monday isn't that bad.. we have a reason to celebrate and can show you progress for 2 games playable on the indieGO! (both available as add-on) 

We have reached the 50000€ stretch goal which means that we will gift you a "lifetime subscription" for EmuLA the world most advanced Emulation management tool. 

EmuLA will help you to manage roms for every system ever made : ) See update #31

Next Stretch goal will add 3 games for free from Piko Interactive. (55000€)

Because we have added Retrode2 support (see last update for a discounted opportunity to get one) we are now in talk to offer SNES and Genesis games from Piko Interactive. At least we will offer them after the campaign.. time flies by : ) 

We have signed some deals we can't talk yet about but they will add more awesomeness to the indieGO! experience at a later point. 

Do you remember Amiga Racer? We have introduced the game and the possibility to get an limited edition car-design USB-Stick containing all version for all platforms. It will be also pre-installed but you can still support his development by donating or ordering the limited edition usb-stick.

Meanwhile the developer made huge progress with his Lotus /Outrun styled racer:
