Normally it should be failsafe.. Don't worry. 

In this Version we replaced the N64 Emulator and brought back ZIP support for SNES and MegaDrive ROMS. The N64 Emulator has no more sound crackles (caused by performance). Offcourse some game are just not compatible but these list is getting dramatically shorter. Also we address PSP Emulation and you should now be able to leave access the Home Menu and quit the emulation using the Joypad.

I have also added better support for the PSX Joypad. To Exit the N64 Emulation you can press L2+Start. 

All you need to do is to select the "Online Update Option". 

If you system is really really old.. please check the ODROID Home folder and delete the file called updatearc.zip 

I will use the next week to update Saturn Emulation which was left behind.. I can at least imagine to play through Contra...

OS update and Games incoming

We are doing over night an update check .. tomorrow we will give green light for version 1.9.5 . If you wait for a replacement microSD .. this was the reason for a short extra delay .. Becomes our speciality :)

It may happen that you get your indieGO with missing accessories. In that case we will send you a voucher for our Webshop to order it there. This will help us to deal with it because the shop coworkers can come into action : )

Finally we will also ship the game Legend / Brave Battle Saga and Iron Commando or those who have pre-ordered them.

Hi guys, 

we are basically set and one millimetre away from the finish line! Please help us and contact us in case you didn't got your console! We got a lot back lately which indicates people moved and or are on vacation / away with work. 

Let us finish it together! Please contact us via Kickstarter with your Name and current Address and we will send you console out the other day around (except on saturday /sunday). 

Everyone who hasn't got one or which came back or which was broken, will get a new game for indieGO! for free called Heroes of Gorluth. 

Lately we released a new OS update which caused some regressions we will rule out next week. 

For example some emulators don't read zips now.. Solution comes next week including some free games. 

Our Team is now 3 people strong and starting next week my collegues will work only on indieGO related things. So expect new announcements and Games coming. 

Oh.. the Piko Interactive licensed games are now in production. Don't fear! If you request the shiping of you console, we will send it as written above independet from these games (in case you pre-ordered them). This means we will send the games after that and pay the shipping.

Heores of Gorluth III will be exclusively distributed by us. Oh No! More Aliens will be released also in a complete redesign! Stay tuned! 

The after-Kickstarter-indieGO's will be limited to 100 pieces. 

We are now working on an updated shop which will also list PSX and AmigaCD32 original games and hardware extras. So lets call it a reboot aka full steam ahead.

Aargh! Please don't update the console ! Due to a mainline kernel update the system can stop booting from the sd-card. While preparing a new update i have run into this... 3 times until I found the reason . i have identified the problem but I can't fix it until tomorrow (Sunday 26th of march). I cross my fingers that nobody updated today.. if so, I will send you a replacement card. Sorry guys.. a new lesson learned .. don't Trust the mainline updates.

This was just an emergency call : ) A nicer update will follow hopefully tomorrow.

UPDATE(14 minutes later):

Ich habe das Problem behoben und lade gerade Version 1.7.9 als kleines "Updätchen" hoch. 

I have fixed it. I am now uploading a small update 1.7.9 which is just there to circumvent the error.

A big update to 2.0.0 will follow with tons of new emulators and update of existing ones plus better compatibility and more.. I need a few minutes of sleep now.

Hi all, 

i think it is time for a life-sign update. Some of you may track Facebook too but even there it got a bit silent.. But the silence is just a result of the focus on testing, packing, sending. As soon I have your package on my desk, you get an info via email with a photo, status and finally a label form where on you can track it. As soon you got the device and come in trouble you are my lord and I will try to serve you as much as I can.  

Sometimes it may take a few days before you can track anything because if I use another service than DHL I need to collect a few boxes with similar targeting countries. 

Today I had a phone-call with send cloud, a service who will offer me a complete "labeling" service. So if the price is "ok" I will make use of it which will again mean that they take 5-15 minutes per box from me. 

When you get an email from me, you get also a small offer about discounted prices for games. Huge discounts : ) I hope it compensates a little bit the waiting time. 

.... so what happened since the last update.....

The OS has been updated to 1.7.8

The consoles are rolled out with OS Version 1.5.9 so please do as soon as possible an online update. 

What is new:

• Quake Shareware-Data is included, so you can now enjoy the Classic Quake with OpenGL acceleration and some new lighting effects 
• Updated Samsung Firmware
• Optimized RetroArch config
• Replaced the slow RetroArch Jaguar Emulator with a direct compiled version 
• adding z64 support to emulation station
• New UAE4ARM build
• Added new setting -> add or remove user from video group .. some libretto cores had a tearing problem. If you enable this setting, it will be gone. It is possible to disable it if it may cause any other problem we are not aware of yet : )
• fixed NeoGeo Emulation station -> it was shown as MSX in Emulation Station
  
  Alien VS Predator for Jaguar:

Quake 1 Shareware... what makes it special is that it is not a OpenGL ES port. It is the normal OpenGL version. 

 Removed Tearing from NeoGeo and other 2D emulators:

As promised I will soon announce the first winners of the of the send in an win "photo contest". If you didn't win, your photo stays in the pool and you may win next time.. at the end of the whole thing I will have send out 318 games : )

For me it is motivating to see happy faces and for others it is a "proof" that the thing is alive and ongoing. If you don't like to present yourself, perhaps you can send just your setup.

Next week is a free day in germany and I will find time for another update ... 

Fabio has finished the fixed "folder-sniffer" which keeps the autoscan database. The feature of autorecognizin CD-ROMS was held back because the last version crashed when no internet connection was set up. 

Also the Main Menu application has been updated already and will be rolled out with the next update. 

Also the way how updates are applied will be changed so that only "new" parts will be updated. This will recede the update time dramatically. 

Besides this you will get an option to install more games.. One is a nice racer which I played on the Dreamcast back then :

Oh and there will be more games in the DOS Area which are already on the console but not "linked" yet. ... not in the next, but the over next update we should be compatible to retropie scripts... 

Ohh and PCFX and CDI support is coming (ROM's not included).
