Can I use Android apps and games?

Can I add a second controller?

Is the X-Arcade Joystick fully compatible by USB?

What version of the Raspberry Pi or ODROID is included

If you choose one the console bundles, you will get depending on your decision a Raspberry Pi 2 or a Odroid XU4. What is inside and how it is made?

Depending on your choice inside the indieGO! will be a Raspberry Pi 2 ARM board or a ODORID XU4 ARM board. In common for all version will be USB extensions, at least a 32GB SD-Card prepared with Android/indieGO!-OS and AEROS, a DVD-Drive to play originals, HDMI lead and power lead. Surrounded by a solid metal casing with vents, SD-Card reader and 2 USB ports on the front for easy access. Last updated: Wed, Dec 30 2015 1:17 pm EST

What Software is included?

On the SD-card you will find 3 operating systems you can easily switch between. Android offers you about 1.8Million apps and games. Besides this we would like to introduce you our own inventions AEROS (a PC-like desktop operating system which runs also Windows Software) and indieGO!-OS a console and multimedia orientated OS. On top each backer which supports us with at least 25€ will get the Game Jim Power in Mutant Planet and the new Piano rendition of the title Theme (Chris Hülsbeck anyone?) for free. Also every console will come with Amiga Racer (check our updates for information). If we reach the final goal “for now”, we will also give you a 15€ gift card to be used in the App Store. Besides this you get also a 25GB cloud storage powered by our own cloud service www.amicloud.de (mainly done for our OS users). There is no monthly fee! For additional 5€ you can get a Windows, or OS, or Linux Version of Amicloud to synch your ROMS from a PC with your console! Wifi and Bluetooth is now part of all console bundles? Even if not written in the description?

Yes. We had a stretch goal about this and we’ve reached it together with our backers. Remember if you add 10€ to your pledge you will get also a 2nd Joypad. MAME isn’t mentioned? Will it be available as well?

MAME has a restrictive license which prohibits to use it in an commercial project. To overcome this we will offer MAME as optional download in our Appstore. This way we can respect the license and our Users can install it hassle-free. Last updated: Mon, Jan 11 2016 5:58 am EST

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
